Ladies and Gentlemen, on the cover page of the Algoa Toastmasters programme it reads the following: “Make Tonight Matter”

These are words that our President Reinhardt Botha always reminds us of, and this is what the club offers at every meeting.

Toastmaster of the Day: Zikhona Mfingwana did a sterling job as Toastmaster of the Day and shared rights of people with disabilities through the meeting.

Table Topics: Emmy Nxayeka conducted great table topics.

Reinhardt Botha (taught us about service appreciation, Toast) Angie Kivido (taught us about time, Tiimer), Waven Korkie (taught us about verbal crutches, Um Ah Counter), Tom Horne (taught us about grammatical errors, Grammarian) and Belita von Steiger (taught us the meeting as a whole, as General Evaluator).

Best Table Topics: Marlene Vosloo
Top Toastie: Natalie van Aardt

The Word of the Day was Inimitable, meaning: so good or unusual as to be impossible to copy.

In the words of fellow Toastmaster Belita von Steiger “Each speaker is inimitable and each person becomes a better version of themselves”
